Locals have claimed that central reservations on roads such as Brockburn Road, Braidcraft Road and Barrhead Road have been left abandoned by the council, after grass was left uncut for multiple weeks during the height of summer. Drivers in the area have blasted the council for leaving it to grow and say that the unattended grass verges, which stand almost two feet high, have resulted in dangerous driving conditions.
