The Pennsylvania Impressionist movement thrived in New Hope, Bucks County in the early 20th Century. There, artists developed a rustic style of landscape painting that often depicted the Delaware River Valley. Paintings by Edward Redfield and Fern Coppedge will be auctioned off by Freeman's on Sunday. Additionally, a large collection of works from the movement can be viewed at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown.
