Bucks Beautiful’s second annual Bulbs for Bucks daffodil photo contest is now open for participants to share photos from some of the sites where more than 1.5 million bulbs have been planted since 2010 throughout Bucks County. Entry submissions will be accepted until midnight April 30.
Three winners will receive two tickets to the Bucks Beautiful Garden Tour to be held June 13 and a choice of a signature daffodil mug or canvas tote bag. Contest winners will be selected at random and contacted directly.
To enter, post daffodil pictures on Facebook or Instagram; tag the post with @BucksBeautiful and the hashtag #BulbsforBucks, and the location.

The legendary John Coltrane revolutionized jazz music with his innovative style of play. Though he died of liver cancer at just 40 years old, Coltrane’s legacy as one of the most prolific and influential artists of all time endures. The Philadelphia Jazz Legacy Project will pay homage to him in a free talk with Lewis Porter, a musician/educator who authored two books on Coltrane and documentarian/historian Steve Rowland, producer of the audio doc “Tell Me How Long The Trane’s Been Gone.” Jazz Legacy project director Suzanne Cloud will host.

DOYLESTOWN, PA The Michener Art Museum has reopened to the public with a new photography exhibition featuring artists in the Delaware Valley region.
On view through August 15,
Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley explores nearly 70 years of artistic experimentations with photographic processes and subject matter by local and regional artists.
The exhibition is organized through the themes of form, figure, landscape, and community and social and political activism, highlighting more than 100 photographs by nearly 40 artists.

.-The Michener Art Museum will reopen to the public February 5, 2021 with the new exhibition Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley. On view through August 15, 2021, this major exhibition is curated by the Micheners Curator of American Art Laura Turner Igoe, PhD, and Curatorial Assistant Tara Kaufman, MA. Through the Lens explores nearly 70 years of artistic experimentations with photographic processes and subject matter by artists in the Delaware Valley region.
