Of shootings on interstate 80 and highway 4. A lot of these incidents have involved gang versus gang shootings. A lot of witnesses are not able to be found. Evidence is lost. There is also a lot of information going on. At this point the chp has convened a task force, especially in Contra Costa County where they are trying to use technology, shot spotter and freeway cameras to try to put an end to this series of shootings. Now, pittsburg, as you know, has recently started up a series of freeway cameras along highway 4. They are trying to put on end to that. We spoke to people at a dennys restaurant for their reaction to the shootings. Heres what they had to say. Its happening too frequently, you know . And more people need to get involved. Really.
