Well, tonight a new cbs news poll shows just how deep it is. Have a look. Back in 2009 after barack obama was inaugurated, 66 of americans said Race Relations were good. Now its 45 . Thats a drop of 21 points and the lowest in 17 years. And jim axelrod is here with more of the story that the numbers tell. Jim . Reporter scott, our cbs news poll gives us a window into a nation divided along racial lines. 74 of blacks we asked believe police resort to deadly force too quickly compared to just 28 of whites. 84 of blacks say police are more likely to use deadly force against a black person and no black, zero percent believe police are most likely to use deadly force against whites.
