LORDSTOWN Usually at this time of the year, local law enforcement officers are spending time with local children shopping for Christmas gifts at area stores as part of Shop with a Cop, but this year adaptions had to be made. For 20 years, the Lordstown police department has shared a Christmas meal with kids in need, prepared by members of the Lordstown Fabric Patchers. The meal traditionally was followed by rides in police cruisers to stores in Niles to shop.
