In the meantime, a look at the markets. Its been a zigzag day. Complicating this is its expiration day. Futures and options are going off the board. That always causes some volatility. That rise midday was after the congressional leaders came out of the white house and used the word constructive to describe the meeting. Right now the dow is off the highs, up just nine points now at 12,552. We do expect more volatility and more volume in this last hour. The nasdaq is up about eight points now at 2844. The s p 500 index with a gain of just two points at 1355. Equities have been set to end the week on a sour note. Then we did get that little bit of hope that maybe our leaders in washington can be reasonable with each other. The major averages have had a rough week. Problem is with apple. At any rate, heres where we stands right now. Sort of a meandering day for the markets. Some Economic Data out this morning. The market responding to that. Then a sideways move after that. The nasdaq benefitting from the rebound in technology yesterday. Up 11. 5 points on the thatnasda. The s p is also trading higher. There it is. Up 2. 5 points on the s p. Meanwhile, bullish sentiment at an eightmonth high right now. Equity allocation is still at the lowest level of the year according to the American Association of individual investors survey that was out this weekend. Stock in a waitandsee mode. Totally understandable until these fiscal issues are resolved. But dont just sit on your hands. There is money to be made if you can find the opportunities. Well find out what the economy is doing right now. Larry, we just heard gary talk about revenue growth. You said earnings are doing well. Revenue hasnt been so hot. Its been objection right . Do you think youll see a breakout in revenue and market demand . I think its too late in the cycle for that. I think its been driven by cost control. One little hiccup that could come soon, estimated a 0. 7 rise in the cpi because of the rise in gas prices. The broader picture is youve got to like equities. All right. In the meantime, we are heading towards the close, and we will set a new alltime high for what has been a rather unloved bull market that weve seen this time around. The Dow Jones Industrial average will be closing at an alltime high that we last saw in october 2007. What does it all mean . Where do we go from here .
