After having trouble with misplacing his smartphone-ish sized Nintendo Switch, Michael Pick decided to fix that “by making something that was a little bit larger and harder to lose.”
A Huntsville-area based software engineer, Pick constructed a swimming-pool-float sized and fully functional Switch. He captured the process on a YouTube video that’s been watched more than 200,000 times.
In the video, Pick describes the device as “the world’s largest fully functional Nintendo Switch.” Materials used include a TV for the screen and a frame made from wood. “Every single button works, even the side triggers,” Pick says in a voiceover for the video.
