New extortion charges filed against man accused of threatening Annapolis alderman

Omaryan Rondell White was indicted in April on four felony extortion offenses and a misdemeanor threat offense, after Gay, a Democrat from Ward 6, reported to Annapolis Police that he had received text messages from White threatening to harm two of Gay’s family members if he was not paid $5,000.
