Hughes crawled around in the walls and ceiling for those who would try to approach. No way to fight of fire that hughes started. Unable to get a shot off, officers maintain position. They knew that through their training and experience that the chances of hughes to come back to the same window were good. And officer hines waited for another opportunity. And moments later hughes again stuck his head out the window. Officer huey knew if he didnt end his life that others would be in jeopardy.
