Using the largest courtroom in the salem courthouse, a judge is addressing 110 potential jurors to determine who will decide the fate of the 16yearold accused of murdering his math teacher at the high school two years ago. 24yearold Colleen Richards was a beloved teacher at the school. He was 14 at the time of the killing but will be tried as an adult. His attorneys are planning to use a Mental Health defense and the judge explained to potential jurors about finding someone not guilty because of mental disease or defect.
