Livingston standoff suspect appears in court, bail set at $500,000

LIVINGSTON â The Livingston man who was arrested after an armed standoff earlier this month made his initial appearance in court on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.
According to court documents obtained by MTN News, Michael Marfuta, 49, was charged with attempted homicide, criminal endangerment and deliberate homicide charges in justice court in Livingston.
Marfuta was arrested after an armed standoff at the View Vista trailer court came to an end around 10 p.m Wednesday, Feb. 3.
Marfutaâs bond was set at $500,000 in Park County Justice Court.

But that surrender didnât come without a fight.
âSo around 10 oâclock last night we were trying to reposition some of our tactical teams around the house,â said Bichler.
