These include establishing 120 shelterinplace rv trailers for people experiencing homeless in district 10 and we have Ongoing Program of shelterinplace hotels for our unsheltered vulnerable populations and weve expanded our meal program for those living on the streets and weve also expanded restroom and handwashing stations throughout the city. What were doing now through the Emergency Operation center and in partnership with the department of Public Health, the Human Services agency and Housing Support homeless, were connecting individuals with the most appropriate solution. What that says is that even though we locally are doing everything that we can to provide resources to the public, we know that theres so much more that needs to be done. We cant wait for a federal stimulus check in many cases, people who are living paycheck to paycheck and need money to pay their bills. And we know, especially our hairdressers and our nail salons, our barbershops, theyre probably suffering the most. Because if they dont work they dont have any income. So this is a very challenging time for all of us. And as we deal with the protecting of Public Health, we need to always protect the Financial Health of our families and communities.
