Smith was killed in front of her husband by gang-related crossfire and was not the intended target, authorities said. She died at the scene shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday near North Vancouver Avenue and North Stanton Street in the Eliot neighborhood. Smith’s family released a photo.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired about 9:30 p.m., Oct. 24, at Southeast 48th Avenue and Southeast Division Street. Though they found no victims at the scene, but Terry later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.

The name of the most recent victim was not immediately released, and no suspect information was available. As of Friday morning, no one had been arrested in any of the killings. According to police, shortly before 7 p.m. on Dec. 17, homicide detectives were called to the scene of a fatal shooting in the area of North Vancouver Avenue and Stanton Street, not far from Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. The victim died at the scene, the police said.
