It happened when smith was spotted by a gas station clerk. The low clouds, the fog, the stratus with us along the shoreline and some patchy fog up in the valleys of the north bay. So very quiet. Satellite picture 52 in hayward. It is 51 in concord, with 45 in fremont. And that fog with mid 40s in santa rosa. 41 novato. So theres a look at the three quarter mile visibility. Napa, half a mile santa rosa and the stratus right along the coast inside the bay there by oakland. By 10 00 it clears. But you can see it sets up again right along the coast.
