New Delhi [India], June 9 (ANI): Delhi s Rohini Court on Wednesday dismissed wrestler Sushil Kumar s petition seeking a high protein diet and special supplements in prison.
Kumar is currently in judicial custody as the prime accused in the Sagar Dhankar murder case.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Satvir Singh Lamba in the order said the alleged special foods and supplements appear to be only the desires and wishes of the accused/applicant and are not in any manner the essential need or necessity for him.
A Delhi court on Wednesday dismissed an application filed by Olympic medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar, accused in a case of alleged murder, seeking special food and supplements in the prison, saying that they are not the “essential need or necessity”.

A Delhi court on Wednesday rejected the plea of two-time Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar, arrested in connection with the murder of 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Dhankhar at Chhatrasal Stadium here, seeking special food and supplements while in custody.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Satvir Singh Lamba said, “All the basic needs and necessities of the accused/applicant [Mr. Sushil] are being taken care of as per the provisions of Delhi Prisons Rule, 2018.”
