Reporter incredible indeed, we are told that the couple actually vacations in this area quite often, they are avid hikers and they are pretty familiar with this area. The Marion County Sheriffs Office said they went to the hospital and the couple told them they went hiking on valentines day it got dark and they lost their way. The area they were found in had such dense vegetation that rescue crews had to crawl on their bellies at some point in order to reach the couple. At 10 10 saturday morning the radio called search and rescue that the missing couple, Carol Kiparsky and ian irwin had been found alive.
