it s a benefit some employees say they haven t found anywhere else. i m here the vast majority of the time 6:30 a.m. this is how i start my day. i walk upstairs, still sweating. and it doesn t stop. i knew it was a different kind of company. i took the steps after that to explore that. met john. met everybody, practically, before i started. and i was utterly impressed and totally surprised. had to be here. while some companies offer financial incentives to get fit, wheeler says that s not in the cards for his company. he believes it sends the wrong message. this is more of an environment that we want to create as a culture. it s something that we want them to feel comfortable here. i think once you start pushing those type and buttons and saying we re going to give you $250 to lose 20 pounds you undermine the whole process. with health insurance costs on the rise, benefits like free workouts and healthy lunches don t do much for the company s bottom line but wheeler says the
passion for her. and her grace through it all is another lesson that she s leaving us with. why do you think people identified so strongly with her? there is almost a princess diana attraction to elizabeth edwards, an identification with her. i think she was willing to be vulnerable which was also ironically one of the attractions of princess diana. princess diana was also wronged. she was vulnerable. and she cared. you know, i think that quality of empathy and for caring for others beyond your own life is incredibly appealing, especially when it s as authentic as it was in her case. the other thing about elizabeth, she did love the politics. i remember when i first met john and elizabeth years back in one of his campaigns and you met both of them. you really had the sense she was the one who really wanted to be out there day in, day out, shaking the hands, getting the names, making the phone calls. she loved it. she was just nonstop and she was awfully good at it.

worked together a little bit before the show. met john and andy, my brother monty was pretty good friends with them before the show. it s a small group. it s the fishery, the crab fleet is a small tight-knit group of guys. larry: is the team aspect important? where you re working together? no, that s out the window, man. larry: so you can hate each other? they don t come over here. there s nothing here when you re on the mother lode. larry: things can get tense on the boat. fights even occur on land. take a look. you were up there with that lady. it wasn t helping you out. oh, yeah, whatever. it s not just about fishing, it s about the [ bleep ] fishing. just knock it off. just try to be a human being, you know? [ bleep ] [ bleep ]. hey, don t [ bleep ] on me for that!
i would have been gone like that. there s been a couple times like that where i got a line wrapped around my waist, and it nearly killed me. john saved me. larry: keith, have you ever been scared in dangerous waters? even last year, they captured an immense wave that just about took out my crew. i can honestly say during the moment, i was never scared. everything has become really clear, you really focus and you you just get through it. after you re out of the situation, whether it s big water or big whatever, then you have a chance to reflect on it. at that point, you get a little shaky, not during the moment. larry: do many people who want to be fishermen not make it? absolutely. a lot of guy goes up there, hear about it. an ego thing or testosterone that kicks in.
