Around 17,000 registered visitors from 155 nations logged in to attend the 17th Virtual.Drupa 2021, the first-ever of its kind since 1951. The first day was packed with 660 minutes of “inspiring” and “cutting-edge” topics in the Conference Area, and 930 minutes of Live Web Sessions and networked with 212 exhibitors from 45 countries in the Exhibition Space and Matchmaking Plaza.
The first day of the show has recorded 2,22,000 page impression from the world over of which 7,500 visitors took part in the Conference programme alone.
At the Virtual.Drupa 2021, the international print and packaging community will have the opportunity to participate in keynotes, panel discussions and live web sessions until 23 April 2021. ETT Club springs into action with three valuable April sessions for exhibition professionals
The Exhibition Think Tank (ETT) Club has three more events for the diary in the coming week.
First up, on 14 April at 14.00 GST (11.00 UK Time), is a panel discussion:
Three big guns of the gulf exhibition industry will take part, including Ashley Roberts, GM OmanExpo; Lisa Hannant, group MD, Clarion Events Ltd, and Nathan Waugh, portfolio director exhibition department, Dubai World Trade Centre.

Grosser follows Horst Giesen, who retired at the end of 2020, and will manage the worldâs largest medical trade fair, MEDICA, and the international leading industry supplier trade fair COMPAMED. He will take responsibility for the strategic alignment of Messe Düsseldorfâs global medical trade fair activities which are brought together under the MEDICAlliance umbrella brand. Among these are the MEDICAL FAIR INDIA (Mumbai/New Delhi), the MEDICAL FAIR ASIA (Singapore), the MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND (Bangkok) and the MEDICAL FAIR BRASIL (Sao Paulo).
