In the end it seems moore seemed to be a step too far even for alabama with his apparent loss causing a shift in the red est of red states. It will be felt in washington as well. Republicans are down to a razor thin 5149 majority in the senate. In spite trump endotsing moore in the final days of the race, even though most republicans deemed him toxic.
