Show Transcript What you doing? Hi, This is Sunny and Cameron Maren last March in Iraq, and this is them in Pittsfield, New Hampshire today. It s a little tired right now. Their journey to the Granite State is a long one. They first met while Cameron was stationed in Iraq with the New Hampshire Army National Guard. There s rough times. There s times that work great, but yeah, it s all just part of it. There s little doubt Sunny brightened his days. Cameron says Stray dogs were frequently around their work, but most of them skittish. A service member has been reunited with a furry friend he met last March in Iraq. While the COVID-19 pandemic made the reunion difficult, the two finally found each other back in Pittsfield on Thursday.
Nonprofit Helps Reunite Veteran with Dog He Met Overseas

A veteran and his dog reunited recently thanks to a nonprofit group that helps service members bring home pets they meet overseas.
When a puppy wandered onto a United States military base in the Eastern European country of Georgia earlier this year, Marine Corporal Patrick Brady made her his own, according to
Today.
“I just fell in love with her right away,” the 22-year-old said.
Brady fed, bathed, and vaccinated the dog he named Marshmallow and it was not long before he decided to try and take her back home with him to Long Island, New York.
