A teenage boy was shot in Fridley and is in a critical condition.
Fridley police officers were called to Mercy Hospital Unity around 7:05 p.m. Sunday on a report a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound came in to the emergency room, according to the Anoka County Sheriff s Office.
The boy remains at the hospital in critical condition as of Monday afternoon.
Sheriff James Stuart, in a statement, said law enforcement agencies were keeping the victim and his family in our thoughts as we hope for a recovery.”
