Which would incentivize states and localities to implement extreme risk laws, which is simply common sense. And i wanted to bring forward our experience in my home state of washington, which became the fourth state in the nation to pass an extreme risk law in 2016. Since we have implemented that law in Washington State, and weve supported it with county resources to help enforce the law by also recovering firearms from people ordered to surrender them by a judge, a number of people at risk of suicide have been referred.
