San francisco is gearing up to bring Mental Health care treatment into court. A care court is really an opportunity me to support individuals with untreated Mental Illness in the community and provide Community Based treatment so individuals can file petitions directly with the court. And care court allows for a wide range of petitioners, including First Responder hours family members, somebody who lives with an individual whos worried about them. And those can get filed directly with the court.
