Hermine slammed into the florida coast early this morning as a category 1 hurricane. Packing winds of up to 80 miles an hour. Its since been downgraded to a Tropical Storm. Forecasters still warn the storm surge and flooding could be life threatening. So lets go right to nbc meteorologist bill karins with the latest on this as we continue to watch hermine as its making its way across the land there in florida.
