The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah also claimed that the government has done nothing to make the Kashmiri Pandits feel safe.
SRINAGAR: In view of the rising Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President and Member of Parliament, Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah today in a letter issued to Deputy Commissioner Srinagar recommended the release Rs.1.40 crores towards, improving the Covid care facilities in the hospitals falling under the jurisdiction of his Parliamentary Constituency.
As per the letter, Dr. Farooq Abdullah recommended the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar to allocate Rs. 50 lakhs to Directorate of Health Services Kashmir and Rs. 30 lakhs each to Govt CD Hospital Srinagar, SMHS Hospital Srinagar and SKIMS Medical College Srinagar.

SRINAGAR: National Conference president and Member of Parliament Farooq Abdullah on Saturday recommended the release of â¹Â 1.4 crore from his MPLADS fund towards improving the COVID care facilities in certain hospitals of Kashmir.
In a letter to Srinagar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Abdullah said the funds be utilised for improving the COVID care facilities in the hospitals falling under the jurisdiction of his parliamentary constituency, which is spread over Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal districts.
“In view of the fact that COVID-19 is spreading at an alarming rate in Kashmir, I think it most appropriate to use the MPLADS Funds released by the Government of India recently in my favour mainly towards improving the COVID care facilities in the hospitals falling under the jurisdiction of my parliamentary constituency,” he said.
