Graffiti Suspect Fires at Cops After Bronx Chase, Gets Shot; No Officers Injured

A man three police officers saw spraying graffiti in the Bronx was shot several times after fleeing the scene early Sunday, officials said at a news briefing. None of the three officers a sergeant and two cops on patrol were hurt. The trio encountered the suspect spraying graffiti on Elton Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. and got out of their vehicle, officials said. Once the suspect spotted them, he ran and the three officers gave chase.

Watertown Police log, Jan 4 to Jan 10: Suspicious man at park

Wicked Local The following are excerpts from the Watertown Police log as made available by the Watertown Police Department. The log is public and available for review. All persons are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Jan. 4 2:22 p.m.: Roma Tile, 440 Arsenal St., reported possible credit card fraud issue. They had a charge back to their account for $1,667.89. They located the purchase which was made on Dec. 16 by a person claiming to be a contractor. He bought 30 cases of tile and loaded it onto their truck. The credit card did not come back to the name that was provided. It came back to a person out of Connecticut. They spoke with the person from Connecticut who had no idea this was happening. Someone made a credit card in their name.
