BeaverTails Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival get DJ Shub, Amanda Rheaume and More for Virtual Edition Published Feb 01, 2021 The BeaverTails Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival is going virtual for 2021. Taking place February 5-21, the festival can be enjoyed right from the comfort of your own home and will feature performances from an all Canadian lineup, activities and visual arts presentations.    The performances will kick off with folk duo Moonfruits on Friday, February 5. They will be followed up by festival veterans The Chinese Canadian Children Choir of Canada on Saturday, February 6. Alternative R&B artist Melo Griffith will take front and centre on Tuesday, February 9. Canadian Folk Music Award nominees for Ensemble of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year, Silent Winters,  follows two days later on Thursday February 11.
