BELFAST  Belfast Police reported two traffic citations between July 6-15. One citation was issued for imprudent speed and the other citation was issued for operating a motor vehicle while using a handheld device. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported.  An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.  July 6 Meldon Bates, 56, of Belfast, was issued a summons for criminal trespass and violating a condition of release on High Street.  July 7 Eugene W. Littlefield, 65, of Belfast, was issued a summons for sexual abuse of a minor on Poors Mill Road, stemming from an incident March 16.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. June 10 Kathleen H. Winslow, 35, of Belfast, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating a condition of release. June 11 Jonathan Crowe, 38, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release and unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug on Market Street. June 15 Bradley B. Sherwood, 44, of Brooks, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Head of Tide Road.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named. April 24 Tayler Turner, 18, of Montville, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive.  April 27 Phillip McFadden, 28, of Waldo, was issued summonses for operating after habitual offender revocation, violating a condition of release, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Poors Mill Road, stemming from an incident April 8.  May 4 Donovan Canary, 23, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Piper Stream Road.
