Poor air quality but as we get into the later part of the day, the overnight hours were going to see a stronger onshore push. The lighter colors indicate better air quality by tomorrow evening. Very unhealthy air for us again today, unfortunately, but we will be looking at a more diffuse smoke layer meaning we will warm up a little bit more into some 80s today. We certainly have the smoke, haze and some stratus out there. A dense fog advisory along the shoreline. You can see the fog lined up there, and unfortunately no good news in terms of our air quality today. The winds are going to be light and the sun has to bust through that smoke layer to get that sea breeze going. As we look at visibility right now it is just reduced everywhere from a quarter of a mile in santa rosa, nothing petaluma to half moon bay. If you have to get out good idea to get out later. Three quarters of a mile sfo, just 2 miles hayward, a little better than that in concord, and the current air quality indexest there as that haze mixes with the fog. So were not looking at big changes today. Maybe a little sun working through that marine layer later on today. But as a result the air quality will be bad today. Air quality right now in san jose is hovering just under 200. But look at this image. It is supposed to be black and white. Where it is gray, that is all smoke. As we widen the view you will notice it is smoky all the way into southern california. Haze and smoke this morning, 50 toss low 60s out there. Here is a look how far you can see or get around. Really treacherous out there with visibility just under two miles everywhere or less than that. So were going to keep this for you the next few hours.
