I want to be where they are. Well i said haze. Yes. Were going from extremely hazardous to hazardous and unhealthy around the bay. We have smoke coming as you know from every direction around the bay area. And you mix in some fog. Visibility is poor. So things arent going to change very much today. But were looking at a better air quality index for tomorrow. And as you look at the state here, we have smoke all the way up and down but whats interesting is the smoke is getting entrained in this area of low pressure and this is going to help us change our wind direction and allow for increasing winds and maybe a few sprinkles. As this gets closer the winds shift to the southwest. Pushing smoke into the Sierra Nevada which actually is better air quality than we do right now. Because the winds are so calm. And the winds are so calm throughout the afternoon because the sun cant bust through that smoke layer and create the temperature difference that creates the sea breeze that helps us out with the stronger winds. So for maunt mount tam, hazy and smoky. 56 downtown. 62 in san jose. Warm yesterday. It was muggy and today about the same. San jose, where you look at the gray skies, 63 in napa and 62 in concord. Gray and ugly out there and were look at the red for everyone pretty much for the unhealthy air except right along the coast here where it is moderate. So this pretty much stays put today. Few shadows maybe of hazy sunshine as the sun tries to work through the smoke layers. But it is going take more than that. A pattern shift and stronger winds. The fog and the better air quality on the way and conditions should continue to improve next week. Here is why. Trough of low pressure linking up with another system midweek and the rain goes to the north be purging that smoke out of the bay area. So it will be better than it has been and it has been horrible. So try to stay inside. 75 in palo alto. Wear that mask. It will be hazy, muggy out there. And looking at numbers ins from. 78, morgan hill. Ed overnight lows with the cloud and fog.
