In an analysis of three years of data from the school district, Jacksonville Public Education Fund revealed that Duval County s teacher retention rate is about 84 percent year-to-year across the entire district and about 75 percent year-to-year in the average school. The district said these numbers are on pace with national statistics.
Kenny Retiring, Candidates Sought to Fill Term on Park Board
The Decatur Park Board of Commissioners welcomes the submission of applications for the unexpired 6-year term of Commissioner Jack Kenny, who will retire from the board on March 4, 2021 after 28 years of service. The unexpired term has two years remaining and ends with the election cycle of April 2023.
