Reporter well, steve and allison, congressman Blake Farenthold of ssaid that the claims that the claims brought by a former Communications Director are false but still he announced that he will not seek reelection next year. Now some of the accusations include sexual jokes, comments and a hostile work environment. Farenthold reportedly used taxpayer funds to settle a 2014 harassment lawsuit filed by that staff. Holly as we just saw earlier this morning was with him when he learned that he had to go where, holly . What was his first stop . Well he had to come here to fox5 because he has to get his officially issued Police Uniform because, you know, hes going to be looking for bad guys today. Hes going to be helping keep the city safe. Let me tell you this right now. Every k9 officer on the d. C. Metro police force wishes that he was riding around in that right there. Hes got a very special ride to take him on his mission today. Let me just tell you, its not a good day d. C. It is an awesome day d. C. Because this wish is being granted for ember. Hes just eight years old. Hes been fighting Cystic Fibrosis. He lost a lung when he was just two years old. And he has a feeding tube.
Airport like this there would be backup. Gosh i thought whats going on. It looked green and then finally it went off. I thought oh, no, it could be something way worse than just weather. Reporter delta has many backup planes and crews at its atlanta hub but because so planes are so full it could take another day or more for operations to get back to normal. Now, in atlanta, the mayor there said that there was no evidence that this fire was caused deliberately. So, its just one of those terrible accidents. Fortunately nobody injured but with atlanta being the Busiest Airport in the world whatever happens there has a Ripple Effect everywhere else and again thats why were seeing a little bit of extra traffic here at the delta counter this morning.
