Assam & Meghalaya to Experience Heavy Rainfall from May 19-21
Another cyclone named Yaas is likely to hit the east coast on May 26, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.

GUWAHATI: Parts of Northeast India including Assam and Meghalaya are set to witness some intense rainfall activity as well, with heavy rainfall along with mudslide set to lash the region for the next three days.
According to The Weather Channel s MET dept, a cyclonic circulation located over Northeast India will give rise to widespread rains, thunderstorms, and gusty winds blowing at 30 to 40 kmph across the region. Some areas will also experience isolated heavy showers.
