Police activity. It was all about this carjacking. We want to show you some video that youre only gonna see here on news4 of that arrest. Now, Police Arrested the suspect wearing a red shirt after searching for him in bethesda and northwest washington here this morning. Police say there was an armed carjacking. That happened about 10 30 this morning over on loughboro road over in northwest. The suspect then led police on a pursuit around American University into bethesda. Thats where the suv, a honda crv crashed into a wooded area on little falls parkway. Thats near river road. He got out of the suv and ran away. Now, someone from wtop radio happened to be in the area and saw Police Pursuing this suv. I was over on massachusetts avenue by American University when i noticed there was a police chase going on and immediately caught my attention. Then i was the mayor of my hometown for eight years and then i was the county executive of a large county. Nassua county on long island, 1. 3 million people. 2. 8 billion budget. I did that for eight years. I had actually run for governor of new york state against Eliot Spitzer in a democratic primary. That did not turn out well for me. Didnt turn out very well for Eliot Spitzer either. Then i lost my race in 2009 for county executive and went back into the private sector i worked for a large Investment Banking advisory firm.
