Courtesy Carla Ambrose More than 2 feet of snow had fallen in the Red Feather Lakes area by Sunday morning on March 14, 2021. and last updated 2021-03-15 09:27:28-04 DENVER – The snowstorm arrived in earnest Saturday evening in Colorado and after heavy snow throughout Sunday, the storm has moved out of the state, leaving feet of snow in many areas. The National Weather Service said Monday morning that 27.1 inches of snow have now been measured in this storm at Denver International Airport, where the official Denver snow records are tallied.

Some mountain areas saw impressive snow totals from a winter storm that moved into the state Wednesday. Author: Bobbi Sheldon Updated: 10:43 AM MST February 4, 2021 COLORADO, USA A snowstorm that moved into the state on Wednesday dumped heavy snow in Colorado s mountains.  Areas like Snowmass Village saw 20 inches of fresh snow by Thursday morning, while most of the Denver metro only saw trace amounts of accumulation.  Here s how much snow has fallen in areas around the state as of 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service: Avon - 4.5 inches Leadville - 9.7 inches  Oak Creek - 4.4 inches Ridgway - 7.5 inches
