A bench of Justices D.Y. Chandrachud, Surya Kant and Vikram Nath allowed the news and current affairs channel to continue its operations as they were prior to the telecast ban.
'We are asking them to place on record the files before us,' the SC noted, referring to the papers relevant to the Union home ministry's 'national security concern' claims.
'For 11 years, we have been functioning and we have 350 employees and millions of viewers. We have been shut down because of some secret files from the Home Ministry,' senior advocate Dushyant Dave said.
