herman cain never made it. his campaign imploded amid multiple allegations of sexual harassment, but he say he still sees a role for himself in the republican race. he spoke with john king. how did that go? interesting conversation. very difficult. we ll watch this in the weeks and months ahead, but one month ago today, he suspended his ferm. today, he said he feels burned by the process, that was baseless, but the media wouldn t let go. he had to put family first. he s going to have a foundation or political movement. he says he s going to help because the republican party and these candidates in the race are not doing a good enough job focusing on the issue. he won t endorse, but he says he can play a role. if he came out of iowa and new hampshire as a winner, would you stand by his side? not exactly, john and here s why. you e see, my mission is to help
secretary. i asked him if he thought running a pizza chain gave him the experience. he said you need a management guide. i wouldn t count on a republican president giving him that job, but that s what he wants. but he s not going to endorse something ribt now. he s he wants to be involved in the issues and would dispoint his supporters. he was a romney backer in 2008. if romney could win iowa, new hampshire. these things can change. but the moment he insists he can carve out some role for himself. little skeptical. tv commentator? i think there s no question herman cain wants to have a public role. remember, he had the radio show in atlanta. whether it s an official job at one place, there s no question he wants to stay involved. he left with a lot of money he could still use down the road. it takes a lot of money to close down a campaign.

anthony weiner and john edwards i am explode of accusations in this vein, how could the cain campaign make the mistake. from the washington post said it s not a campaign ready for prime time. and you hate to that s what, look, it s horrible to say that there are rules sin nicks and beltway insider types if you don t play by the rules you don t make it. it s true, this is reality. jon: there were reactions of race involvement and coulter said the media wouldn t have run the story if cain were white, is that true, judy. that s just not true. john edwards, i mean, a list of politicians now and it s because of all who have come before him that the issue of sexual harassment is now on the table. our blacks are better than
