The surf is up behind us, winds still coming down significantly. The wind is blowing significantly. The rain coming down as well. We saw the worst of it here from about midnight until 2 00 a. M. But it is by no means over. You look out and tarps all over the roads here from tents that were up in this area along st. Pete beach. We have, as far as i can tell, maintained power all of the night here. But when you look out there appear to be larger stretches where power is not on. Irma has, as she moved up florida, moved more inland, and so raked more inland but also slowed down the speeds at least as she moved up.
