In the early 1900s Jefferson City's elite residents began relocating to suburbs on the city's outskirts. One such suburb was Moreau Drive near the old county fairgrounds and one such early transplant was William (Billy) Mueller and his wife, Kathryn.
Investments in the city's park system are paying off in the new revenue it is producing for Jefferson City, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department officials recently shared with the City Council.
