Karnataka Congress MLA alleges discrepancy in black fungus case numbers
Congress MLA MB Patil has alleged a discrepancy in the number of black fungus cases being reported by the state government.

Amid a spike in mucormycosis cases in Karnataka, Congress MLA MB Patil has accused the BJP government of under-reporting black fungus cases.
The former Karnataka home minister claimed that in his Vijayapura constituency, there were 127 cases of black fungus as on May 31. However, the state data showed just 57 cases in the Vijaypura district as on June 1.
