World-first high speed electric vehicle (EV) charging technology has debuted on the Gold Coast, with the first supercharger installed at Broadbeach today. More Tritium RTM75 EV 75KW charging stations will be rolled out across other Gold Coast locations including Broadbeach, Coolangatta, Southport, Pimpama, Carrara, Bundall and Nerang. The 75kW DC fast charger is 50 per cent faster than 50kW chargers. It can charge two vehicles simultaneously, delivering 75km of range to an EV within 10 minutes of charging. The system is designed to be scaled up to 150kW as more users choose EV transport.
