ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS The borough’s new affordable housing attorney is the latest in a string of departures over the past week, bringing the total to five people who have resigned or retired from municipal posts since April 8.
Paperwork has been filed with state Superior Court in Bergen County to remove Michael Jedziniak as the attorney of record on a suit against four attorneys who had previously served the borough.
Jedziniak, of the Toms River-based firm Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks, alleges that he was appointed “exclusively” as the affordable housing counsel but that he was instructed by Mayor Mario Kranjac to file the suit against the four attorneys a task “outside the scope” of the appointment and only “tenuously related” to affordable housing.
