The surrenderers pledged loyalty to the government in a simple ceremony at the Carigara town hall on Monday, the Philippine Army's 802nd Infantry Brigade (802nd IBde) said in a statement sent to reporters Monday night. They took their oath of allegiance to the government before Mayor Eduardo Ong, Sr. as witnessed by Army 802nd IBde commander Brig. Gen. Zosimo Oliveros, Army 93rd Infantry Battalion commander Lt. Col. Arnold Lozada, policemen, and local officials. Of the 22 rebels, fou
