Boughton to Resign on Thursday, Joe Cavo Sworn in as Mayor of Danbury Written by HH
Weather permitting, the swearing-in of Joe Cavo to Mayor of the City of Danbury will take place on Thursday, December 17. According to the Mayor s office, the impending snowstorm may push this date up to Wednesday.
Mayor Boughton will submit his resignation on the date of the swearing-in. Due to COVID, this is not going to be a traditional swearing-in as City Hall is closed to the public.
