US President Joe Biden has an edge in a head-to-head match with Trump. At least for now. His popularity, however, could fall further from now till the election day in November 2024.
For nearly six times, Biden has referred to his 2024 running mate and second-in-command as "President", accidentally though, but that doesn t take away the fact that Harris is set to play a more prominent role in a second coming to the White House.
Contrary to common perceptions that voters abandoned Donald Trump wholesale, he actually increased his votes by over 11 million, from 62.98 million in 2016 to 74.22 million in 2020 but with bigger mobilisation, Biden outdid him by getting 81.28 million votes.
