Driver of a red bmw held a gun out the window and was shooting at another, charcoal colored sedan. Nguyen heard three shots near polk street, and then ducked to the ground, grabbed the dog, tried to protect him. I think he was reacting to what i was doing. He stopped, and he looked. Loki and his owner was some of the only ones outside when it happened. Nguyen says another couple on a walk heard the shots, but initially thought they were a car backfiring.
