This morning, some flooded roads were shut down. This is the Northern State parkway. It was partially under way. News 4s greg is live. We saw the water coming up, couldnt believe it. What a difference just a few hours makes. As you can see behind me, the Northern State parkway, traffic is moving well in both directions now. This morning at the height of the rush hour, this area was a major stress point for drivers. The torrential rains flooded both the eat st and westbound lanes here, forcing police to close the area for three hours. Three cars were trapped and suffered damage. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
