The Islamic month of fasting, Ramzan, will commence from Sunday as the crescent moon could not be sighted on Friday, said spokesperson of Delhi s Jama Masjid.
Ahead of the Ramzan, an annual helpline number for the month run by Aishbagh Eidgah under Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli was also launched on Monday became functional from May 25.
