More than 30 entries, each decorated with at least 2,000 lights, paraded on Western and Broadway avenues during the annual Celebrate Downtown Mattoon Christmas event on Friday.
The 2023 Lightworks display at Peterson Park and the Santa House there will open for the season with a walk-through event starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16.
